BWR/NCBCP: Power of Black Women’s Leadership & Vote in 2020: The Arc Bends Toward Justice
The Black Women’s Roundtable (BWR), in partnership with CBCF and ESSENCE, will host its 11th Annual BWR Policy Forum to:
1) share the 2019 BWR/ESSENCE Power of the Sister Vote Poll results that identify Black women’s most pressing issues; which 2020 presidential candidates they would vote for if the election were held today; and what’s most threatening to U.S. democracy.
2) host an intergenerational Black women leaders panel will share key strategies to engage, organize and mobilize Black women to elevate their issues in the 2020 Election Cycle to drive a policy agenda that centers on justice including: racial, gender, economic, criminal, health & reproductive justice.
