As a woman, I have always played a vital role in my place of work
… but I’ve not always had a say in my own destiny
I’ve often been expected to do men’s work …then I often wasn’t
It took a more enlightened age to kick-start some important social changes
But despite the advancement of gender equality …
… today, there are more Johns’ running our top companies than there are women… and we are not alone… but all this is bound to change… for instance, over the next decade, women will be the dominant force in consumer economics… and so why would any smart organisation not have its major market fully represented?
…not by forcing opinions…but by intelligent collaboration
as part of an eco-system to dismantle the barriers to a more workable, equitable society… but although we are the first generation of women to lead the house and business, the everyday struggle to juggle goes on … however, what if we can learn how to work together better and pass on our experience and insights to our children, then maybe we can influence a movement of change everywhere
