Women will be able to lead and lead effectively if they are confident, committed, courageous and compassionate. It is important for women to find themselves as part of the discussion to deal with the problems society is faced with, be constructive in planning solutions and be prepared to hold up the sky by remaining committed to their believes, being courageous to voice out their dissents and have compassion over the less privileged.
Hanna TETTEH is Ghanaian politician born in Szeged, Hungary some 46 years ago. Becoming a Barrister-at-Law in 1992, she for several years served as a legal officer with the International Federation of Women Lawyers (FIDA) and the Commission on Human Rights and Administrative Justice in Ghana. Hanna additional worked with various private and public institutions serving in different capacities. She is currently the Minister for Foreign Affairs in the incumbent government after serving as Trade and Industry Minister under the late President Mills’ administration and representing the people of Awutu Senya Constituency as a Member of Parliament in the year 2000.
