[BCCK Webinar] Empowering the Next Generation of Women Business Leaders

On Thursday, September 9th, the BCCK hosted a webinar on the topic of “Empowering the Next Generation of Women Business Leaders.” Moderated by Sam Harvey, Director of the British Council Korea and Chair of the BCCK Women In Business Committee, and with speakers; Joo Hee Lee, Managing Partner of Linklaters Korea, Graham Johnstone, Chief Risk Officer of HSBC Korea and Jie-ae Sohn, Professor at the Graduate School of International Studies of Ewha Womans University.

The speakers discussed ways to support the next generation of female leaders in the workplace and shared some of the best practices and company policies they have seen that have proven to be effective in changing the company culture and raising the pipeline and opportunities for the next generation of women leaders. They also discussed the role of mentorship and the shed light on the ongoing Mentorship Program which the BCCK has recently begun. More than 40 members attended the webinar and actively engaged themselves in the discussion.
