How increased participation of women at the leadership level in politics, resources and business can bring improvements and opportunities to citizens, employees, and shareholders. Melinda is a mining professional with 7 years of experience at two of the world’s biggest miners, BHP and Fortescue Metals group. She has worked as a Geologist, Operations Supervisor, and Project Manager.
While she is a geologist by training, her true passion is educating the resources industry on the benefits of gender equality, diversity and inclusion. She firmly believes that increased female representation in mining leads to safer and more productive workplaces, and better culture.
