Join us for the 25th Episode of our monthly livestream, “Consulting Without Borders LIVE – Perspectives,” where we will explore women leaders through the examples and intersections of two regions – Central Asia and the Nordic countries. Although these regions may seem distant, they share much in common and certainly have lessons for each other, especially regarding women’s leadership, diversity, equity, and inclusion.
We are honored to host two incredible guest speakers, both originally from Central Asia but with strong connections to the Nordic region:
• Jania Adilbek, PhD, Founder and Chairperson of the Eurasian Nordic Business Association, who previously served as the Trade Commissioner for Business Finland in Kazakhstan and was the Head of Finpro Kazakhstan representative office for almost 17 years. Jania is a certified reinvention practitioner and trainer on business culture across Central Asia.
• Kamilla Sultanova, Diversity, Equality and Inclusion (DEI) Consultant, award-winning keynote speaker, event host, and moderator. Originally from Uzbekistan and a passionate advocate for Uzbek women, youth, and the global Uzbek diaspora, Kamilla currently lives and works in Finland, where she challenges business and societal norms by training executives on cross-cultural competencies and inclusive workplace cultures.
As Jania and Kamilla share their personal stories and perspectives on women’s experiences in Central Asia and the Nordic region you will learn:
• How cultural attitudes and traditional gender roles impact women in Central Asia and the Nordic countries.
• What shared challenges and opportunities exist in these regions for promoting gender equality in women’s economic participation and entrepreneurship.
• Which lessons and insights from Central Asian and Nordic cultures can inspire and support women leaders worldwide.
Don’t miss the chance to engage with us live through the comments section by asking questions and sharing your own perspectives.
